The news coming down Thursday concerning wide receiver A.J. Green being suspended for four games is coming right before Georgia’s huge early season matchup with South Carolina.
The reason Green has been suspended is for selling his Independence Bowl game jersey for $1,000 to a person who is considered to be an agent. Green has sat out the season opener last week against Louisiana-Lafayette due to the allegations and will out the next three games which are South Carolina, Arkansas and Mississippi State.
