Good morning everybody! I’m Rich Thomaselli, Deputy College Football Editor for Bleacher Report, and I’ll be live blogging today’s game between No. 4 Florida and Miami (Ohio). 11:35 a.m. EDT: Uh-oh. Herbstreit just picked UConn to beat Michigan in the Big House.
11:32 a.m. EDT: Next up is a story on Michigan and embattled coach Rich Rodriguez. I covered Michigan for four years in the late 1990s, early 2000s. It’s amazing how one program can sustain consistency through three coaches — from Bo to Gary Moeller to Lloyd Carr — and go to 34 consecutive bowl games, and then have one guy come in and post consecutive losing seasons.
11:30 a.m. EDT: GameDay guys talking about Notre Dame. Geez, the Irish have seven home games, three road, two neutral. Can they make it any easier to succeed this year?!?
11:25 a.m. EDT: Just saw a piece on Florida coach Urban Meyer‘s health problems on ESPN’s GameDay. Sorry, still not buying that he’s a changed man. I think he had his health scare, but I think he’ll still be the intense coach he always was.
