While junior Utah State transfer Riley Nelson will likely start against Washington, both he and true freshman Jake Heaps will play according to a BYU press release this morning.
Heaps, a top recruit from Washington, fits the traditional profile of a starter for the "Quarterback Factory". Heaps racked up 3191 yards through the air his last year at Skyline High, and his arm strength has been proven during fall camp.
