In its fifth season under the direction of head coach Bill Cubit, Western Michigan began its campaign with two straight loses but rebounded with wins over Miami-Ohio and Hofstra. It finished the season losing three of four against weaker foes like Ball State and Kent State with a single win coming against the wretched Eastern Michigan Eagles. The Broncos have yet to win a bowl game, and have not seen a MAC title game since 2000.
Now the Broncos will look to rebound in 2010.
