In preparation for the season, USA Today has released their annual preseason Top 25 poll of the top high school football teams in the nation.

17 states placed a team on the list. Florida led the way with four squads each, and California and Texas each had three teams.

A lot will change over the course of the season, but here's a look at the 10 teams the USA Today staff feel are the country's elite.
