It sounds like J.T. was not with a majority of his teammates participating in summer workouts. Either way, you can't show up to camp out of shape. You have to spend the time between Spring and Fall practices getting your body in shape, so that when the short Fall Camp begins, you can get the proper offense or defense schemes down for the start of the season.
