It has been presented many times by writers, coaches, college football fans, members of Congress, and even the President of the United States that college football would be better if the current BCS system was replaced with a playoff.
Below are a few reasons why the BCS should be scrapped in favor of a playoff system that invites at least the champions of EVERY FBS conference.
The BCS is inherently unfair because it eliminates teams, even those from BCS conferences, from playing for a national title before a single game is played.
