... earned their first bowl win since 2005 when they came from behind to defeat the Temple Owls 30-21 last year.  Head coach Rick Neuheisel will enter this third year on the sidelines, hoping to improve on a 7-6 record. 

However, there might not have been a bigger beneficiary of the sanctions brought down on USC than their cross-town rival.  A Top 10 recruiting class followed, as the Bruins look to be set for a future run at a Pac-10 title.  It will be a difficult task for the players and coaching staff to earn that distinction in 2010.
