Many have a twitter account to express how excited they are for an upcoming game, or how proud they are of their players, etc. This is yet another technological tool that can and I am sure has been used in recruiting. Now I understand that not all accounts are the actual coach. Some are PR and media relations guys with the university running the account for the coach, while some accounts are the actual man himself. What I have done is looked up every coach on twitter, to the best of my ability, and found out if they had a twitter account.
