When the NCAA handed the penalty down to USC, it was to take effect immediately. Part of the penalty stated that the Trojans could only play 12 games in each of the next two seasons, now the NCAA has a change of heart.
USC senior vice president Todd Dickey announced earlier today that the NCAA will let the Trojans play a 13th game in the 2010 football season.
