... sent their final bid for the 2014 Super Bowl to NFL headquarters today. The two teams would like to host the big game at their new $1.6 billion stadium.

The theme behind the bid is "Make Some History." 

If accepted, it would be the first cold weather Super Bowl at a stadium without a dome.

In my opinion, weather is really the only question mark. The New York/New Jersey area is a great spot for the big game. There are many places in which events could be held during the week leading up to the game.
