Entering the day with seven picks, the Dolphins finished with just five following a few trade-ups.
First, the Dolphins gave up the No. 126 pick and No. 179 pick for the Dallas Cowboys' 119th pick to select Iowa linebacker A. J. Edds.
Later, Miami sent No. 174 and No. 219 to Washington for No. 163, used on Georgia safety Reshad Jones.
In all, the Dolphins added linebacker A. J. Edds (Iowa), cornerback Nolan Carroll (Maryland), safety Reshad Jones (Georgia), linebacker Chris McCoy (Middle Tennessee State), and linebacker Austin Spitler (Ohio State).
