The International Bowl is no more.
Unable to retain the Big East as a partner, the Toronto-based bowl will close up shop. The Big East instead has partnered with the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium.
It is a good move for the Big East, as the conference will now play a game against a Big 12 school instead of a school from the MAC, as in the International Bowl.
While the Big East has upgraded its bowl arrangements, the MAC is left in the cold—and it now only has two bowl arrangements remaining.
