Boyd's announcement was supposed to come at some point on Friday and still probably will, but according to The News Press in Southwest Florida, Boyd's father claims he will choose Notre Dame.

“We’re all stoked,” Scott Boyd said. “We kind of wanted him to choose Notre Dame all along.”
