Regardless, there is one poignant fact that made me realize there is a way for Auburn fans to root for Alabama without feeling shame.

That is current Alabama associate head coach and outside linebackers coach James Willis. 

For those who don't know, Willis is a former Auburn player and linebackers coach for the Tigers. He was released after former head coach Tommy Tuberville resigned, asked to stay on after Chizik was hired, but was hired by Alabama head coach Nick Saban.
