Today Bill Sheridan was awarded his New Year gift to begin 2010. The first to feel the heat, Bill Sheridan was fired after four solid years with the Giants as their top defensive coordinator.
Tom Coughlin had hinted that Sheridan's performance was going to be evaluated in the upcoming days, no one expected it to be a day after the Giants final game of the season though. Sheridan was told the news early this afternoon by Coughlin, and the former Super Bowl winning defensive coordinator was on his way.
