While the 2009 Humanitarian Bowl did not match the magnitude of the monumental BCS upset two years ago, it was only fitting that the thrilling contest between the Idaho Vandals and the Bowling Green Falcons took place on the turf of those legendary Broncos.
And watching the drama unfold, the television audience ( minuscule as it may have been) and Smurf Turf attendees alike must have gotten a serious case of blue-and-orange deja vu.
The eventual winner, Idaho, jumped out to a big lead (28-14) in the third quarter, only to see Bowling Green...
