In addition to Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram, linebacker Rolando McClain, defensive tackle Terrance (Mt.) Cody, cornerback Javier Arenas, guard Michael Johnson and kicker Leigh Tiffin were all named as All-Americans.
This was the second straight nod for Cody and the first for the rest of this squad.
Since 1964, only twice before has a program had five players on any All American Team and that was Oklahoma both times.
This could potentially be the best team in the last half century to wear Crimson, in addition to being one of the strongest and deepest teams in college football history
