Pete Carroll has deemed the Emerald Bowl the biggest game for USC during the Carroll era.
I have to agree. A loss here would cement the fall of the Trojans.
Just like Miami, the deterioration of the Trojan "dynasty" has begun.
While there is no doubt USC has had a great run recently with some great athletes, I struggle to call it a dynasty. I even struggle to distinguish this run from the one made by Miami from 1999-2002. Miami also had some great teams during that run with some great players.
Where are they now?
Miami today is a shadow of its former self and has been ever since they lost to Ohio State in the 2002 national championship game. Their fall started much like this season ...
