Over the years the Heisman trophy has become an exclusive award for only quarterbacks, and the occasional running back. Wide receivers and defensive players often get wrongly overlooked.
It looks like it will happen again this season. There are a handful of players who are deserving of the Heisman trophy who aren't quarterbacks this year.
One of those players that will most likely miss out on the award is Clemson's C.J. Spiller. This guy is an absolute game changer at the running back position and has single handily taken Clemson to the ACC championship game.
