This is not the case for the Hokies come Saturday.  Boston College is coming to town, and the Eagles find themselves at the top of the Atlantic Division in the ACC.

So, technically it's a battle of number one's on Virginia Tech's homecoming. However, I'm not sure how many people are more excited for the game or more excited for the homecoming activities.

Campus, in-particular the drill field, has been swamped with fraternities and sororities passing out fliers, playing music, dancing, and playing games trying to get people to vote for someone they're sponsoring.
